SURV. MAXWELL B. MENSAH
Maxwell B. Mensah is the Managing Consultant at Maxmens Group. He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, a Chartered Building Consultant, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and a Project Manager. He worked with SIC Insurance Company as a Risk Surveyor and a Loss Adjuster and has over twelve years experience working in the areas of Construction, Quantity Surveying, Property Insurance, Loss Adjusting and Engineering Risk Management Consultancy for numerous companies in Ghana, Liberia and the United Kingdom.
Maxwell started his career as a Quantity Surveyor with the State Housing Company where he rose to become the Chief Quantity Surveyor. During this period, he worked with various construction outfits as Quantity Surveyor and Construction Manager on various projects. He also worked with Benjy Properties, a facilities management outfit in Enfield, London, England as a facilities officer and in the Nottingham Trent University as a facilities assistant. His multi skills in engineering, construction, facilities management and insurance come very handy in the areas of property loss adjusting and risk management.
Maxwell holds an Advance Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII, U.K), a Diploma in Loss Adjusting (Dip. CILA, UK) and an Associate of the International Federation of Adjusting Associations (AIFAA). He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), UK and a Professional Associate of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (MGhIS). He holds a BSc. Building Technology from KNUST and MSc. Construction Project Management from Nottingham Trent University in UK.
ING. FREDERICK AMUI OBLITEY ESQ.
Ing. F. A. Oblitey is a Principal Consultant at Maxmens Group. Fred is a Chartered Insurer, a Certified Loss Adjuster, an Insurance Surveyor, a Professional Engineer and a Lawyer.
He worked with SIC Insurance Company as a Risk Engineer and Loss Adjuster. Before joining SIC, Fred worked with Millicom International Cellular (TIGO) as a Middle Level Manager in the Information Technology and Engineering Departments and also worked with Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) as Protection and Control Engineer. Fred was also in charge of Technical Monitoring of all power plants and electricity generation infrastructure in Ghana whilst working for PURC as Technical Manager, Energy.
Fred is a Certified Loss Adjuster and a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (MCILA [UK]), Advanced Diploma Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII (U.K)). He holds a BSc. Electrical Engineering (KNUST), an LLB (Laws) and BL (Ghana). He is a seasoned engineer, a Corporate Member of the Ghana Institute of Engineers (MGhIE) and a Member of the Ghana Bar Association. He was one of the first to qualify as an Advanced Diploma holder from the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters in Ghana with specialization in Business Interruption insurance.
